History of Ayurveda dates back to the pre-vedic period, when 5000 years BC old Rig Veda and Atharvaveda had refereces on health and diseases. Much of the history was revealed in texts like Charak Samhita and Susruta Samhita in 1000 years BC. Ayurveda ensures complete healthcare. Its surprising to see closeness between Ayurvedic concepts and WHO’s concepts of health care in present era. Where else to get close to this in the land of the Vedas-India.
