Day 1: Arrive Kochi. Transfer to Thattekad
Arrive Kochi, transfer to hotel in Thattekad, around 65km and one hour's drive. Option to cycle / walk around nearby village. Fixed camp.
Day 2: Drive to Munnar
From Allepy drive to Kochi.Early morning, we will head for bird watching, a visit to the Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary (also known as the Thattekad Sanctuary), where exotic birds such as the Indian Pond Heron, Pied Kingfisher and the Plum-headed Parakeet can be seen. We will return for the breakfast and then a late morning 70km drive to Munnar. The hill station at Munnar is in the Idukki district of southern Kerala situated at 1,600metres above sea level. Munnar is at the confluence of the rivers Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly and is South India’s largest tea-growing region. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 3: Trek - Rhodo Valley and Meesapulimalai
Starting with a 25km jeep ride from Munnar to The Silent Valley Tea Estate where we start our walk at 1750m to reach the summit of the Meesapulimalai, at 2637m this is the highest point of the trek. The 13km walk will pass through plantations, pine forests and the unique Shola grasslands. We then head down to Rhodo valley, (2300m), for overnight stay in comfortable tents.
Day 4: Trek Rhodo Valley to Camp Footprint (Yellapatty)
Journey through green valleys to top station of Munnar.We walk today from our campsite in the Rhodo Valley for a distance of 16-18km through pine forests and Shola grasslands to reach Camp Footprint (2100m) for our overnight stay. The trek will last for 8 to 9 hours with a high point of 2400m. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 5: Trek - drive to Munnar
Morning we continue walking to a nearest road where we meet the transport and drive to Munnar. Overnight stay in Hotel
Day 6: Cycle to Thekkady
We start our ride from the Lockhart Gap, and cycle through the “Cardamom Mountains” smelling the aromatic spice which is home to cardamom plantations since 1822 and account for 70% of India’s cardamom production towards Thekkady. Overnight stay in Hotel / Homestay.
Day 7: In Periyar National Park
We will cycle to the Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for its Tigers and Elephants and other species such as the Travancore Flying Squirrel, Nilgiri Marten, Salim Ali’s Fruit Bat, Malabar Grey Hornbill, Nilgiri Flycatcher and King Cobra to name a few. There are a number of themed treks for you to opt from within the park. Overnight stay in Hotel / Homestay.
Day 8: Cycle to Teekoy
Drive to Kovallam.Today’s, mostly descending, will start at Thekkady’s spice plantations and will take you the scenic grasshills of Elapara and Vagamon through to Teekoi. Hotel / Homestay
Day 10: Cycle Kumarakom. Stay at a traditional homsetay
This ride will take you through to the state highway, village roads and the national highway through to the gorgeous backwaters, paddy fields and coconut groves. The terrain is mostly flat with a few gentle ascends and descends. Overnight stay in Homestay.
Day 11: Cycle in the morning and then board the Houseboat
Cycle 40 to 50 km to around traditional villages and board houseboat around lunch time to experience a day of cruising on a traditional ‘kettuvalam’, or houseboat, through the scenic backwaters, exploring villages located along the banks for a taste of the rustic Kerala. In the evening houseboat move to a different location and dock overnight. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 12: Cycle Marari to Beach
Cycle about 50 km to reach Marari beach along the Malabar Coast to the meeting point of the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea for a fitting end to the Kerala by cycle tour. Evening relax at beach. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 13: Marari Beach
Day at leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 14:
Departure transfer to airport.

Visas to the citizens of following countries are now given on arrival in India. These visas are for single entry strictly for the purpose of Tourism and for a short period of up to a maximum of 60 days. India has been considered a safe destination to travel. Unless you are visiting any remote area or an area affected by some epidemic, there is no compulsory health requirement before entering India.
