Visit to the jewels of north-eastern India, the trip starts with some great wild-life encounters in Kaxiranga national park. The park located on the fertile banks of river Brahmaputra in the state of Assam, provides ample habitat opportunities for diverse flora and fauna, its famous for the one-horned Rhinos, and also some of the Bengal tigers, Elephants and others wildlife.
The tour then heads to Jalpadara national park in the Bengal plains which is again houses number of wild species, followed by visit to the capital city of the Sikkim – Gangtok.
This is followed by visit to Darjeeling – the hill station created during the British Raj to helps the who’s who escape the heat of the plains when Calcutta (as it was known) was the capital. The trip ends in Kolkata, capital of the state of Bengal, witness the glory of the Victorian architecture of the by gone era, reminiscence of India’s colonial past.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and greet at the airport & transfer to hotel. Afternoon leisure time or optional sightseeing of Delhi visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and Lotus Temple. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2: Delhi - Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (220 Km/ 5 Hrs.)
Morning transfer to the Delhi airport to board the flight for Guwahati. On arrival drive to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the "One Horned Rhinoceros". Overnight stay at resort.
Day 3& 4: Kaziranga National Park
Visit national Park for Jungle safari and wildlife watching.Kaziranga National Park is famous all over the world for its one-horned rhinos. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 5: Kaziranga - Guwahati - New Jalpaigudi(NJP) (drive 3 ½ hrs. / 169km)
In the morning, drive to Guwahati, after visiting some sights in the city including the famous Kamakhi Temple head to theRailway station in the evening to catch the train for NJP. Overnight stay on train.
Day 6: Drive toJaldapara National Park (drive 3hrs. / 125km)
On the arrival, drive to Jaldapara National Park situated in the Eastern foothills of Himalayas and transfer to hotel. The Park is famous for one horned Rhinoceros, Elephants and Bengal Tigers. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 7: Jaldapara
In the morning and eveningvisit national Park for Jungle safari and wildlife watching. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 8: Jaldapara–Gangtok (Drive 5 ½ hrs. / 193km)
After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, rest of the day free at leisue. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9: Gangtok
Drive to the nearby Tsomgo Lake, this is one of the most beautiful lakes located close to Nathula Pass. Some majestic snowy peakscan be seen from here.Afternoon explore the local market. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 10: Gangtok– Darjeeling (Drive 3 ½ hrs. / 100km)
Drive to Darjeeling and check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon we explore the local bazaar. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 11: Darjeeling
A full day to explore the town and its surroundings. A visit is arranged to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Further out of town is the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, where many Tibetan handicrafts are made. All around are the world famous tea estates and there are several monasteries nearby, of which the most famous is at Ghoom (when the railway is working, it is possible to take the toy train to Ghoom and return by taxi). Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 12: Darjeeling -Bagdogra. Flight to Kolkata (drive 4-5hrs / 90kms)
Morning transfer to the airport, in time for the flight to Kolkata. The rest of the day is free to explore the city or and the sights. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 13: Departure
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for home.
